BitkiCars does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no tracking. The only identifier the app uses is an anonymous, randomly generated device token.
On first launch the app generates a random UUID and stores it on your device. This token is sent with requests to our server and is used solely for rate limiting and for keeping your own evaluation history. It is not derived from your identity or hardware, is not linked to you as a person, is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising or tracking. Deleting the app deletes the token; a reinstall generates a new one, unrelated to the old.
When you request an evaluation or browse the catalog, the app sends your query (lot URL or VIN, selected customs option, filters) to our backend (bitkicars.ru), which returns cost calculations and publicly available listing data from car auctions and marketplaces (Copart, IAAI, mobile.de, Encar). Photos are served through our image proxy over HTTPS.
Favorites, evaluation history and settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you remove the app.
As with any internet service, our server sees standard technical request data (such as IP address) required to deliver a response. This data is not used to identify you, is not profiled and is not shared.
Listing data and photos belong to the respective auctions and sellers. Opening a lot leads to the original site, where its own privacy policy applies.
